DOCS NetMapr

NetMapr overview

Living network diagrams — drawn by you, kept alive by your infrastructure.

NetMapr is a network topology editor built for documentation that stays true: maps are data, not pictures, so devices on the canvas can carry live status, link to assets and runbooks, and export in formats other tools understand.

Features

  • Canvas editor — drag-and-drop devices, orthogonal connections, groups, zones, and annotations. Full undo/redo, keyboard-first (press ? in the editor for shortcuts).
  • Live node status — wire a device to the v1 API and its status LED updates on the map.
  • Pinned & foldered maps — organize by site, client, or environment.
  • Sharing — invite teammates to a map with view or edit permission.
  • Exports — PNG and SVG for humans; GraphViz and DNS zone formats for machines.
  • Cross-links — a node can point at its AssetTrakr record and its NoteTakr runbooks, so the map is the front door to everything you know about a device.

Where things are

Views (All / Pinned / Shared) and folders live in the toolbar. The search box matches map names and tags. Sort, grid/list toggle, and New Map sit on the right.
